COPY/PASTE PROJECT GALERIJA10m2
Opening in Zagreb. 13 – 16 december 2007

First event and reproduction outside the walls of Galerija 10m2. Creation of a 1/1 scale model of the Sarajevo gallery, a multiplication of a fleeting and mobile space of presentation, whose ambiguous reality – architectural, sculptural and nomadic – will be made to travel from the countries of former Yugoslavie to the rest of the world.

During the four days of the Velesajam Kulture festival in Zagreb, four exhibitions and four openings will be presented.

An extract of "Video-Salon", a 90-minute film devoid of narration and made up of a selection of works: Lionel Sabatté, Nika Oblak & Primoz Novak, Boris Achour, Demis Sinancevic, Damir Niksic, Jean-Gabriel Périot, Laurent Mareschal, Raphaël Zarka, Baptiste Debombourg, Ervin Babic, Fabien Giraud, Guillaume Poulain, Stéphane Thidet, Aymeric Delhay, Barry Johnston, Damir Radovic, Jusuf Hadzifejzovic, Virginie Yassef, Nicolas Boone, Seong-hoon Park, Emmanuelle Antille.

We have no other ambition here than to open up a crack in the video-graphic universe, to give a glimpse of the richness and multiplicity of form of the medium, with no attempt at extracting one or several tendencies that would serve to somehow refine an act of showing that intends to be purely “raw”.

The presentation of the work of three artists from Zagreb: Maja Rozman, Ivan Fijolic, Karla Suler :
as a statement of 10m2’s will to come into contact with the local art scene and to present new artists according to the various stops on it’s way.

Première manifestation-reproduction de la Galerija 10m2 hors les murs. Création d'une copie à l'échelle 1 de la galerie de Sarajevo, un multiple d'un espace de présentation mouvant et évanescent, dont la réalité ambigu, architecturale, sculpturale et nomade sera amenée à circuler depuis les pays de l'Ex-Yougoslavie et à travers le monde.

Pour les quatre jours du festival « Velesajam Kulture" de Zagreb, quatre expositions et quatre vernissages sont proposés.

Nul autre ambition ici que d'ouvrir une brèche dans l'univers vidéographique, de laisser entrevoir la richesse protéiforme du médium, sans que soit tenté d'en extraire une/des tendance(s) qui viendrai(en)t raffiner arbitrairement une monstration qui se veut simplement "brut".

La présentation du travail de trois artistes de Zagreb, Majc Rozman, Maja Rozman, Ivan Fijolic, Karla Suler : l'affirmation de la volonté de 10m2 de se confronter à la vie artistique locale et de proposer de nouveaux artistes en fonction des étapes qui ponctueront ses déplacements.
