Présentation d'une sélection de vidéos extraites des trois expositions "Vidéo-Salon" de la galerija10m2 et dont l'ambition n'était que d'ouvrir une brèche dans l'univers vidéographique, de laisser entrevoir la richesse protéiforme du médium tout en revendiquant une monstration brute. Principe réaffirmé ici autour des oeuvres de 21 artistes. Pas de thématique, simplement la poursuite d'une intuition, une seule contrainte, une seule règle, la brièveté des vidéos (10s > 4mn) et un flux continu d'images, un rythme ininterrompu à la fois drôle, politique, intime, subversif et poétique, une vision fragmentaire et sans répit du présent.
Presentation of a selection of videos drawn from the three Galerija10m2 “Video-Salon” exhibitions, and whose ambition was only to open a breach into the videographic universe, to let viewers catch a glimpse of the medium's protean potential, while at the same time claiming a raw “monstration” (displayment) objective. That principle is reasserted here around the works of 21 artists. No theme, simply the pursuit of an intuition, only one limitation, only one rule, the shortness of videos (10s > 4mn) and a constant image flow, an uninterrupted rhythm which has to be all at once funny, political, intimate, subversive and poetic, a fragmentary and restless vision of the present.
