Demis Sinancevic. Demis Sinancevic is an artist and video maker, writer and art organizer, currently living in Sarajevo. Trough art, he is trying to research unavoidable presence and usage points of virtual reality, and light beam as communication material. He win the first award in category “Insert”, Sarajevo Film Festival 6. Unplugged opening of the first exhibition of Vizionarsko Društvo, Barake project opening of the International exhibition Re_Cultivation - Vizionarsko Društvo in cooperation with SICE; Barake, Skenderija, Empty House, Sarajevo. He participate to many group exhibitions in: Stuttgart, Regensburg, Berlin, Germany, New York, USA, Asahi art square gallery ,Tokyo, Japan, National Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Collegium Artisticum, Roman Petrovic Gallery, Mostar, Blagaj, Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. Researching presence of virtual reality, light and light beam as communication material, self and collective memory on traces of its erasing, and art history as usable visual working material. Active protagonist of post-war Sarajevo art scene and life. Founder and director of Visionary Society NGO. Together with other VS members, initiator of the BARAKE project ,Sarajevo and Balkan cultural movement.
